This year’s Gay Pride Paris 2025 felt different. Tensions in the air, internal disputes, even the exclusion of certain LGBTQ+ groups—it was, frankly, tense.
At HappyGayTV, we almost decided not to go cover it.
Our mission isn’t journalism. We don’t pick political sides. What drives us is empathy—raising voices, connecting people, showing humanity. But this time, the surrounding drama made it impossible to ignore context.
The night before the march, we received a press release: an LGBTQ+ association had been excluded. That was our cue: we had to go, not just to film, but to listen.
Diverse voices, honest opinions
In this exclusive street interview from Gay Pride Paris 2025, you’ll hear from activists, community leaders, political figures—and everyday people walking the parade, making it real.
- Sébastien Schon, President of Inter-LGBT
- Alain Beit, President of Beit Haverim
- Matthieu Gatipon-Bachette, Spokesperson for Fiertés Citoyennes
- Marie Lockwood, Spokesperson for SOS Homophobie
- Jean-Luc Romero-Michel, activist and politician
Big thanks to them—and to every participant on the street who shared their truth.
An unexpected revelation awaits…
This isn’t just vox pop. At the end, our host, Marco DRION, shares a confidential comment made off camera, exposing exactly how heated things have become and the symbolic tensions present within the community.
This isn’t about politics. It’s about the psychological weight of labels, exclusion, and mistrust—something we’ve seen this year more than ever.
